PANDEMONIUM IN ABAKALIKI AS A BOY BEATS DAD TO STUPOR OVER EEDC BILL

Fear gripped families and residents of Ugwuachara last week as a boy and his father had exchange of blows over Enugu Electricity Distribution Company's bill.



The man accused his son of embezzling the cash collected from the tenants. He said that his son was fond of collecting the money any time the faather gathers it from the co-tenants to pay to EEDC office, Stressing that the son would not pay the bill plunging the compound into debt.

Behind the News gathered that as he was still speaking, the son interrupted saying that he is innocent of the accusation. the issue that started as a debate swiftly become chaotic when the man pushed his son and the boy retaliated which resulted to a fight and the son broke his fathers hand.

The matter has not been reported to the police as the families agreed to settle it domestically.
